This list is for discussion on history and genealogy of the Australian Aborigine. Other linked resources include a database of members interests and brick walls, and various other related links. If you have additions to either of these resources, please isanders@tpg.com.au?Subject=Koori Page Update">email me and I will update the relevant page.

The term 'Koori' is used regularly here, but is intended only as a collective term for all aboriginal people; (Murri, Goori, Nunga, Nyoongar, Yolngu, Koorie and others)- No offence is intended.


Subscription Details

These mailing lists are hosted by Rootsweb and subscription is achieved by sending an email to aus-koori-l-request@rootsweb.com with subscribe in the body for mail mode (receive all messages as they are sent by other listers), or by sending an email to aus-koori-d-request@rootsweb.com with subscribe in the body for digest mode (receive a summary message every few messages).

The list is low volume and mail mode is usually the preferred option. To unsubscribe, follow the above instructions but use unsubscribe in place of subscribe. Clicking on the following links will produce a formatted message for each mode which just needs to be sent for either subscribing or unsubscribing.
