Charles VI the Beloved was born on December 3rd, 1368 in Paris, France.¹ Charles VI the Beloved's father was Charles V the Wise and his mother was Joan of Bourbon. His paternal grandparents were John II the Good and Bonne of Luxemburg. He had a brother and two sisters, named Louis of Beaumont, Isabelle and Catherine.
