James Harris Bodey

James Harris was born on November 13th, 1872.¹ James Harris' father was James Bodey and his mother was Annie Harris. His paternal grandparents were John Bodey and Jane Bowes; his maternal grandparents were John Evans Harris and Mary Luff. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Herbert John, Walter, Oliver Evan, Matthew George Ernest, Henry, Ida Jane, Bessie, Emma Annie, Florence and Alice Ethel. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 39 on April 1st, 1912 in Narracoorte SA. His burial was in Mount Gambier SA.¹¹
