Bessie Bodey

Bessie was born in 1878 in Horsham Victoria.¹ Bessie's father was James Bodey and her mother was Annie Harris. Her paternal grandparents were John Bodey and Jane Bowes; her maternal grandparents were John Evans Harris and Mary Luff. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James Harris, Herbert John, Walter, Oliver Evan, Matthew George Ernest, Henry, Ida Jane, Emma Annie, Florence and Alice Ethel. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 34 on December 19th, 1912 in Glenhuntly. Her burial was in Horsham Victoria.¹¹
