Dorothy Beryl was born in 1896.1   Dorothy Beryl's father was William BUCK and her mother was Elizabeth Celia SHAW.  Her maternal grandparents were Joseph SHAW and Catherine (Kate) WILSON. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Lesley William, Walter Douglas, Edward Isaac, Cecil Horace, Frederick Charles, Charles Eagle Knight, Edith Lillie, Dorothy Florence and Ethel Kate.  She was the youngest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers named Ro(w)land Watson and Ernest Roy.
