Robert was born on February 26th, 1865.1   Robert's father was Michael BRYAN and his mother was Margaret PRENDERGAST.  His paternal grandparents were Michael BRYAN and Catherine HEALY. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Patrick James, Ryan, Jane, Margaret, Anne and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Michael John, Ellen and Catherine.  He died at the age of 75 in 1940.1
