Michael Claude BOWES-LYON

Michael Claude was born in 1893.¹ Michael Claude's father was Claude George BOWES-LYON and his mother was Cecilia Nina CAVENDISH-BENTIN. His paternal grandparents were Claude BOWES-LYON and Frances Dora SMITH; his maternal grandparents were Charles CAVENDISH-BENTIN and Caroline Louisa BURNABY. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Patrick, John Herbert, Alexander Francis, Fergus, David, Violet Hyacinth, Mary Frances, Rose and Elizabeth Angela Marguerite. He was the eighth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 60 in 1953.¹
