Christina was born on July 25th, 1859 in Dalry,  Ayrshire, Scotland.1   Christina's father was Daniel BLUE and her mother was Mary TOWNSEND. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Duguld, John, Colin, Donald\Daniel, James, Margaret, Mary and Elizabeth Wilson McLeod.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
