Alexander John BEST

Alexander John was born in 1907.¹ Alexander John's father was Edward BEST and his mother was Alice Louise WILLIAMS. His paternal grandparents were John BEST and Amelia SMITH; his maternal grandparents were John WILLIAMS and Elizabeth LIDDEL. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Philip, Roy Leigh, Aubrey Edward Owen, Mildred, Kathleen May and Alice Isabel. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 85 in 1992. His burial was in Mersey Lawn Cemetery, Devonport, Tas..¹¹
