John Raymond ATHERTON

John Raymond was born on March 30th, 1901.¹ John Raymond's father was Samuel Charles ATHERTON and his mother was Rose HANCOCK. His paternal grandparents were Charles ATHERTON and Mary Jane FOWLER; his maternal grandparents were John Steven HANCOCK and Caroline KERRISON. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Cecil Robert, Charles Thomas, Leah, Victoria May, Dorothea Annie and Gladys Rose. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
