Percy John was born in 1887 in Longford, TAS.1   Percy John's father was William Henry ADAMS and his mother was Elizabeth Hannah TEMPLER.  His maternal grandparents were John TEMPLER and Hannah CHATHAM. He had a brother and three sisters, named Ernest William, Ruby Florence, Lillian May and Ella Rose.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 67 in 1954 in Prahran, VIC.1
