James Porteus ACHESON

James Porteus was born on January 17th, 1867 in Ely FER IRL.¹ James Porteus' father was Charles ACHESON and his mother was Jane PORTEUS. His paternal grandparents were Hugh ACHESON and Eleanor; his maternal grandparents were William PORTEUS and Mary ACHESON. He had a brother and a sister, named William Hugh and Anna Bella. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 82 on November 23rd, 1949 in Buggan, Derrygonelly FER IRL.¹
